LARGEST HOSPITALS IN GREATER HARTFORD (Ranked by total number of FTE employees as of September 2017) Hartford HealthCare's Bone & Joint Institute debuts Hartford HealthCare in January opened its all-new $150-million Bone & Joint Institute at Hartford Hospital. The 130,000-square-foot facility features an inpatient building with 48 private inpatient rooms, with capacity to expand to 60. Longtime St. Francis Hospital CEO to depart Trinity Health Chris Dadlez, the CEO of St. Fran- cis Hospital and Medical Center's parent company, announced he was stepping down from his post at the end of 2017. Dadlez, Trinity Health Of New England's president and CEO, joined St. Francis Care in 2004 and led the 2015 consolidation of the system into the national Trinity Health system. CT Children's combining 400 jobs to downtown Hartford Hartford's world-renowned Con- necticut Children's Medical Center relocated its administrative offices and at least 400 staffers to an office tower on the south edge of down- town.
