Aetna announces its HQs is moving to NYC; proposes CVS deal Hartford health insurer Aetna had a busy 2017. First the company an- nounced in June that it was moving its corporate headquarters to New York City in late 2018. Then, in early December, Aet- na announced it was going to be acquired for $69 billion by pharmacy retail giant CVS, in a move many have proclaimed will reshape the healthcare landscape.
