Honoring Outstanding Humanitarians from the 2017 Hurricanes
One more hurricane. This time, a hurricane of hope, and heroes. The American Red Cross honors the
brave, selfless, and strong humanitarians who supported us during the 2017 hurricanes.
The 2017 hurricane season was among the top 10 all-time most active seasons on record. Like a
hurricane, heroes rushed to the affected areas, heading straight into the storm to provide care,
shelter, and hope. This year, we honor these heroes at our 13
th
annual Red Cross Ball.
