The MassMatch Assistive Technology Center in
Worcester offers technology testing for the disabled.
The Easter Seals opened the MassMatch
Assistive Technology Regional Center on
Main Street in Worcester in October, to help
children and adults with disabilities explore
and test technology to increase their
independence.
The center offers the chance to test
assistive technology, much like a library,
according to the nonprofit. Hundreds of
devices are available for communication,
education, hearing, vision impairment and
daily living. People can take equipment
home and try it out for up to four weeks.
MassMatch Assistive Technology Regional
Centers is the federally-funded group
supplying the equipment.
