KeyBank announces grant
to CT Food Bank
KeyBank announced a $105,000 grant
to the Connecticut Food Bank. The grant
announcement came as KeyBank and the
Connecticut Food Bank celebrated the
completion of their month-long "Super-Size-
Me" Food Drive, where more than $3,300 in
funds were collected along with nearly 1,500
pounds of food.
Halloran & Sage attorneys and staff give back
Hartford law firm Halloran & Sage LLP recently held a donation drive to collect winter accessories,
toiletries and Halloween candy and fruit. The recipients of the donation drive included Hands On
Hartford, Family & Children's Agency of Norwalk and New Haven Community Soup Kitchen. Pictured

United Way Emerging Leaders Society holds case competition
Ten teams of young local professionals recently competed to present the best way to raise vital
funds for the community by reimagining United Way/workplace giving campaigns. A team from Grant
Thornton LLP, mentored by Eric Galvin, president and COO of ConnectiCare, developed the winning
proposal. The team now has an opportunity to work with United Way to implement their idea.
