A|M Fitness collects donations for Food Pantry A|M Fitness in Plainville recently held a food drive and a charity check-in as part of the last phase of its five-week training program. The food drive collected over 30 bags of groceries while the charity check-in raised $500 for the Plainville Food Pantry. Sixth annual Miracle League car wash fundraiser Farmington's Wealth Management Group of North America (WMGNA) along with the University of Hartford Hawks Baseball team, raised $1,400 during their sixth annual charity car wash to benefit the Miracle League of Connecticut. The Miracle League of Connecticut helps children with developmental or physical challenges participate in team sports in a safe and fun environment. Robinson+Cole employees volunteer at soup kitchen A team of nine Robinson+Cole lawyers and staff members volunteered their time to plan, purchase, prepare and serve lunch at MANNA Community Meals, a soup kitchen run by Hartford nonprofit Hands On Hartford, providing services for Hartford's homeless, working poor and elderly populations. Duclos has practiced commercial real estate brokerage and consulting since 1986 and co-founded Sentry Commercial in 1991. Lina Dureza, director of nursing services at Hughes Health & Rehabilitation in West Hartford, received the 2017 Public Service Award from The Connecticut Nurses Association at CNA's recent Diamond Jubilee and Awards Reception. The award is given to an individual who has made notable contributions to the advancement of nursing, public health or health care in Connecticut.
