Our strategic goals are advanced through: • Enhancing guest amenities and experiences indoors and outdoors • Increasing accessibility and diversity in all aspects throughout the institution • Raising awareness around the importance of science and nature • Developing long-term asset replacement and acquisition plans The Third Century Plan is comprised of four key initiatives: • Powering the Future: Decommissioned our aged power plant and built an energy-efficient mechanical plant • Explorer Express Train: Replaced 1-½ miles of new track • City Science: A new exhibit where visitors can explore the modern city and investigate the science they encounter every day • Wild Cat Station: Brings mountain lions and other native species to our visitors (coming 2018)
