Busch has been named chief operating officer for engineering firm CME Associates Inc. in East Hartford. CME also announced the promotions of engineers Ryan R. Cooley, Mark J. Gardner, Dan Hoffman, Donald P. Wurst and Timothy J. Young. Busch will oversee all technical divisions in his new role. He joined CME in 1998, has led the firm's structural division for the last 10 years and is known regionally as an expert in bridge construction. Cooley was recently promoted to department manager from senior structural engineer. Cooley joined CME in 2009 and has 14 years in the industry. Gardner has been promoted to project engineer and has worked in the project management department since 2015. Hoffman has been promoted to senior structural engineer and will oversee a design team and guide design decisions. He joined CME in 2010. Wurst was recently promoted to department manager. Wurst joined CME in 2013. Young was recently promoted to alternative project delivery lead and will oversee CME's most complex and high-profile projects that use innovative techniques. Young joined CME in 2013. Steven E. MacCormack has joined Lyman Real Estate as a licensed agent. MacCormack also is a licensed certified general real estate appraiser and has more than 20 years of experience with commercial and residential properties. Mathew P. Jasinski and Michael J. Pendell, attorneys at the Hartford office of Motley Rice LLC, have been promoted to members at the firm. Jasinski represents consumers, businesses and governmental entities in class action and complex cases involving consumer protection, unfair trade practices, commercial, environmental and securities litigation. Pendell focuses on representing people affected by corporate wrongdoing, including whistleblowers, and people harmed by tobacco and dangerous pelvic mesh devices. Drs. Maame A. Dankwah-Quansah, Nikola Perosevic, Emily Stanford and Nitya Sthalekar have joined St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dankwah-Quansah is a fellowship-trained neurologist with St. Francis Medical Group. She completed an internal medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center and a neurology residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, plus a fellowship program in neuro- oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, all in New York. Perosevic is a specialist in internal medicine with St. Francis Medical Group. He completed a residency program in internal medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/James J. Peters VA Medical Center in New York. Stanford is a specialist in internal medicine with St. Francis Medical Group. She completed a residency program in internal medicine at the UConn School of Medicine. Sthalekar is an advanced heart failure specialist in cardiovascular medicine with St. Francis Medical Group. Sthalekar completed her residency training in internal medicine at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. Aline Rossiter and Rich Meier have joined the administrative team at The Ethel Walker School, an independent, college preparatory, boarding and day school for girls in grades six through 12 in Simsbury. Rossiter is the school's new director of enrollment management. Rossiter comes to Walker from the Forman School, where she was director of admission.
