The company's biggest market is original equipment manufacturers, or OEMs, which make plastic-making equipment. IHCo also sells through distributors and directly to end users in the plastics industry. On the sheet metal side, IHCo does sub-contracting work for some of the largest companies in aerospace, health services and electronic hardware. Every year, Industrial Heater hosts an open house event for Manufacturing Day, typically working with Cheshire Public Schools in this effort. The company has also hosted job-shadowing opportunities for high school students, and sent representatives to speak at the Cheshire High School Career Day.
