Ltd. Wire Belt Company of America Wire Belt Company of America is a fourth-generation family-owned business which manufactures wire mesh conveyor belts used in many different industries, such as food processing, bakery, confectionery, textile, automotive and many others. We make conveyor belts, drive components, and conveyors for many industries. Most people will have seen our belts on the conveyorized pizza ovens or toasters in many fast food restaurants. Almost every chocolate covered candy bar is made on belts like ours. We sell our products to all major food processors and manufacturers of food processing equipment. Virtually every bit of protein at McDonalds and all other fast food restaurants has been on our belt during processing. Our various product lines are used for baking bread, coating products (candy), cooking, frying and seasoning, among other uses. Wire Belt employees are the most diverse aspect of the company, where you can hear as many as seven languages being spoken. Kind, hard-working, fun and loyal people are what best describes the employees of Wire Belt. We look for a wide-range of jobs, from professional positions (i.e. sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and engineering) as well as manufacturing positions, such as toolmakers and machinists, mechanics, and machine operators. Our most recent hires were a Technical Support Engineer and Marketing Specialist. Yes We offer 100 percent tuition reimbursement, a 9/80 flexible work schedule, gym reimbursements, one full-day (8 hours) of paid community service, profit sharing, and a community garden provided at our office – these are just a few benefits offered to Wire Belt employees. AT A G L A N C E Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Age: 23 School: Londonderry High School – Londonderry, NH; Norwich University – Northfield, VT Years at Company: 2 years Andrew Janowicz Andrew's role at Wire Belt is to work with the other engineers, sales, and production to solve problems. Whether it be modifying a machine to fix a quality or safety issue, taking ideas from sales/ marketing to develop new products and the production process behind it, or designing a whole new machine to solve a specific problem. Andrew says Wire Belt is a friendly work environment, and when walking through the production or office area, most people will say "hi" and greet you with a smile. Wire Belt also offers many opportunities to help you grow as an individual. They have offered many internal courses, which were contracted through Manchester Community College, that concentrated on effective leadership. These classes focused on many different aspects of leadership. They have also offered lean training and six sigma training which is helpful in the manufacturing field. Andrew will also be starting his MBA in September, where he will take advantage of the 100 percent tuition reimbursement, plus cost of books, that Wire Belt offers. The 9/80 work schedule is also a perk that he says makes his friends jealous.
