MANUFACTURING DAY TOURS
Manufacturing Day expanding
to Manufacturing Month in 2017
Based on the success of its Manufacturing Day
activities last year, the New Hampshire Manufacturing
Extension Partnership will expand to Manufacturing
Month this year. Manufacturing Day is Oct. 6 this year
and is highlighted across the country as manufacturing
companies and organizations conduct tours and other
open-house events to dispel notions about the industry
and introduce the next generation to potential careers
in manufacturing. Because the tours arranged by the
NH MEP (see pictures) were so widely attended last
year, the organization decided to spread those events
throughout the entire month of October.
