With innovative three-year degree programs, an ever-increasing number of academic majors, and an impressive list of unique career preparation opportunities, SNHU is always seeking out new ways to better serve our students. SNHU offers an impressive slate of business majors, immersive, hands-on education programs, a broad range of liberal arts programs, and more. Just this year, SNHU unveiled the College of Engineering, Technology, and Aeronautics (CETA), home to seven new majors that underscore our commitment to STEM-related programs. SNHU's goal is to provide excellent (and affordable) educational opportunities for all students, no matter their intended major. SNHU currently boasts a 20,000-square-foot facility designed to serve the needs of our CETA and STEM students. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including four different computer labs, radar simulators, a wind tunnel, a machine shop, a mechanical lab, a robotics lab, an electrical lab, and more. SNHU is also in the process of constructing a new, cutting-edge facility to further serve students in STEM fields. This new building, expected to be completed by the fall of 2019, will add new computer labs, a welding lab, a wood shop, an additional machine shop, and other resources to complement those in the existing CETA facility. SNHU offers several engineering programs, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Aeronautical Engineering, as well as other, similar programs like Computer Science and Construction Management. One of SNHU's greatest strengths is the ability to build partnerships with area companies and organizations. We encourage our students to seek out hands-on, real-world learning opportunities, and our Career and Professional Development Center posts over 1,500 job and internship listings each year. As CETA continues to develop and new students and resources are added, our ability to engage with the community and grow strong partnerships will only continue to grow. SNHU has a working relationship with many local and national organizations looking forward to working closely with the next generation of engineers and manufacturers. As CETA is a relatively new initiative at SNHU, we are excited the opportunity to develop these new partnerships from the ground up. Companies and organizations interested in working with SNHU to provide experiential learning opportunities for students should reach out to the Career and Professional Development Center at 603-645-9793 or careerdevelopment@snhu.edu.
