Rather than selling products, we provide services to manufacture the products or parts our customers need. These include items like joint implants, surgical instruments, needles, cannula, probes and much more. In a typical year we might ship 42 million parts, made up of more than 3,000 different items. We are a contract manufacturer, so we make products for a variety of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) using their designs. The products we make are sold under their names, not our own. The manufacturing we do is highly advanced, so we hire folks who have an excellent work ethic, are team oriented, have good attention to detail and a sense of urgency. These primary factors, along with technical skills and aptitude, allow us to continue to grow and exceed our customer needs. Career opportunities are primarily medical component and device machining and manufacturing. We hire skilled machinists, entry- and mid-level manufacturing associates as well as engineers and highly technical people. We believe in investing in people – our greatest resource. For example, we've recently trained employees to be robot operators, giving them the opportunity to increase their skill sets and mobilize their careers. Yes. Recent participation from Northeastern, Wentworth, UMass Dartmouth, Bristol Plymouth and Blackstone Valley. We're very proud of our internship and apprentice programs. Our two-year toolmaker apprentice program includes tuition reimbursement and hands-on training; the first two graduates are now working in highly-skilled manufacturing positions. We love helping our community. Typical projects include blood drives, company fundraisers for organizations such as the American Heart Association and children's causes, race sponsorships, veteran outreach, food drives and more. We have fun doing good! I enjoy training folks and seeing them grow as I have, and knowing our products help the lives of millions. I'm grateful to Tegra Medical and my co-workers, affording me the opportunity to grow personally and professionally." D O Y O U H AV E A N I N T E R N S H I P P R O G R A M ?
