We make their experiences easier, more pleasant and even fun. Sometimes it's through a phone call, sometimes it's by providing a seamless online experience. And, sometimes it's by opening a closer facility. We are a Better Way to Buy. For the industrial and commercial consumers (think manufacturers and packagers), Laddawn produces low-density polyethylene bags, tubing, film and sheeting from 4" to more than 150" wide through a process called Blown Film Extrusion. We stock more than 2,300 items in five warehouses for same-day shipment and produce custom orders on demand. We sell our products to thousands of independent, industrial packaging distributors nationwide. These distributors then sell to their end-user market, which is comprised primarily of industrial, commercial and institutional customers. At Laddawn, employees find themselves among exceptional groups of people where family atmosphere and respect for contribution are paramount. Our people are smart, intuitive, imaginative, creative, and, dare we say, real. And really good. You'll find a mix of professional positions at our corporate office in Devens, MA. We continue to fill important roles in Software Development, Product & Brand Management, Purchasing, Finance and a number of Customer Service positions. In Atlanta (GA), Dallas (TX), Manchester (IA), Reno (NV) and Sterling (MA), you'll find positions in Warehousing and Manufacturing. Devens is also set up as a virtual (work anywhere) workspace, which fosters collaboration and teamwork across all departments. Last year, Laddawn earned the prestigious Team Hoyt Award for our work with Easter Seals. It's just one of dozens of charitable organizations Laddawn employees support each year. They are Polar Plungers, Be Like Brit'ers, Monster Dashers and Color Vibe runners. They run, walk, bowl, build, bake, joke, paint, spell, auction and sing. Laddawn also donates $1 for every online order over $100 to charities such as Homes for Our Troops, the Nature Conservancy, the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club and the American Cancer Society. Laddawn products are manufactured with 100% renewable energy from sources like wind and solar power. This year, our renewable energy purchases will equate to taking more than 3,000 cars off the road or not using more than 36,000 barrels of oil.
