By 2015, she became the learning and development manager, responsible for onboarding, ongoing training and career development of Davis staff. Last year, she was promoted to HR manager, handling safety, employee relations, compensation and legal affairs. She volunteers with Ronald McDonald House, United Way of Central Mass. and ASPCA. Gardner has visited 14 countries and 30 states and lives with husband, Rich, son, Colt, and puggle dog, Sampson. What do you daydream about? Colleges: Florida State University, Suffolk University Law School After graduating cum laude from law school in 2008, Gelinas joined Gelinas & Ward, specializing in estate planning, probate and trust administration, and elder law. She grew this practice area tremendously, well known her exper- tise, caring and dedication to clients. Gelinas serves on boards for Community Foundation of North Central Mass. and Beacon of Hope Community Services, Inc. She is co- leader of her daughter's Girl Scout Brownie Troop. She lives with husband, Justin, and children, Juliette and Justin, Jr. For fun, she enjoys early morning CrossFit workouts. How do you define success? Achieving a satisfying work-life bal- ance, allowing me to thrive profession- ally, while at the same time enjoying a fulfilling family and home life. If you spoke at a college gradua- tion, what would the message be? Life is about the journey, not the desti- nation. There will be highs and lows along the way, so be present and enjoy it all. Kennedy Community Health Center, Worcester Randall started her residency at the Greater Lawrence Community Health Center, cementing a passion for family medicine and marginalized populations. After graduation, she started work at the Kennedy Community Health Center, drawn to the culturally diverse population. Over the past four years, Randall practiced as an attending family physician with a special interest in car- ing for patients with substance-abuse disorders. In January, she started over- seeing the care of pregnant women, as well as new mothers and infants at UMass Memorial Hospital. Her next step is to contribute to the financial wellbeing of health center, expanding services to underserved communities. Who do you look up to? Dr. Jack Geiger, a founder of the American com- munity health center movement What goal do you set for yourself at the start of every workday? Survival. Providing good, evidence-based medi- cal care from first patient to the last, while maintaining the mental and emo- tional capacity to do so. Jamie Salois, 36 Vice president, Atlas Distributing, Inc., Auburn Residence: Worcester Birthplace: Worcester Colleges: Boston College, Babson College Salois joined Atlas six years ago after working at Morgan Stanley in New York City and Eaton Vance Management in Boston, returning to work with his father, Joe Salois, Atlas president and owner. Jamie spent the first years learning operations, finance, merchandising and sales, and now oversees business development and marketing. His brother, Jon, joined Atlas a few years ago, leading the sales team, enabling Jamie to work alongside his father and brother. Jamie serves on Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce's board and MillerCoors Regional Distributor Council. He and wife, Abby, enjoy visit- ing Cape Cod with their son, Jake.
