RECOGNIZED BY BRIDGE FAMILY CENTER At the annual meeting of the Bridge Family Center, Allstate Insurance Co. was recognized for its widespread support of the organization with the Bridge Business Award. Allstate has invested over $73,000 in the mission of the Bridge Family Center, which is a comprehensive, regional nonprofit that provides a broad range of services for children and families throughout Greater Hartford. HRACC was recognized for its strategic activities and initiatives to enhance the human resources profession. ▶ ▶ Farmington Bank's West Hartford branch office welcomed West Hartford high school students for an inside look at banking and career opportunities during the Junior Achievement Career Walk. The JA Career Walk seeks to prepare students for choosing a potential career by gaining a better understanding of job opportunities in their own community. COHNREZNICK VOLUNTEERS DURING WEEK OF CARING MANUFACTURERS RECOGNIZED FOR MEETING JOBS CHALLENGE FARMINGTON BANK HOSTS JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT CAREER WALK ▶ ▶ As part of its third annual Week of Caring, CohnReznick team members (shown above) volunteered at the CE Department of Veterans Affairs in Rocky Hill helping with landscaping projects including clearing an overgrown vegetable garden. ▶ ▶ Gov. Dannel Malloy recently joined the state's public community colleges and several manufacturers including Pratt & Whitney and Electric Boat to announce that the state has surpassed its "300 Days, 300 Jobs" advanced manufacturing challenge. The goal of the campaign was to enroll, graduate and get a job for a minimum of 300 students from the Aug. 2016 enrollment to May 2017 graduation period of participating community colleges.
