Fernando Ferreira, who has been with Avidia since 2014, will be assistant manager. Jeremy Brandon was named assistant vice president, market manag- er for the new branch. Father and son indicted for MassHealth fraud A father and son serving as a person- al care attendant surrogate and a PCA for a family member allegedly submit- ted fraudulent timesheets to MassHealth and defrauded the state's Medicaid program of over $10,000. Scott Gibeault, 51, of Southbridge, and his son Michael, 32, of Webster, were indicted by a Worcester County grand jury with the charges larceny over $250 and Medicaid false claims. After being indicted for four counts of Medicaid false claims and four counts of larceny over $250 by false pre- tenses in February 2016, Scott Gibeault continued to submit fraudulent timesheets to MassHealth between February 2016 and March 2017, Attorney General Maura Healey's office alleges. He was acting as the PCA sur- rogate for his adult son. Homewood Suites breaking ground in Berlin Homewood Suites by Hilton will break ground on its second hotel in Central Massachusetts next week while it prepares to open its first. Homewood Suites is building an 80,000-square foot, 105-room hotel in Berlin. Meanwhile, the new Homewood Suites in Worcester has started accepting reservations for arrival on June 25 and beyond. Marlborough property values hit pre-recession levels The number of households in Marlborough is up 12 percent since 2000, with two out of five such house- holds having income above $100,000, accord- ing to a report prepared for the Marlborough Economic Development Corp.. The aver- age home valuation has risen during that period by 81 percent, from $181,000 to $328,430, the firm found.
