Former President Herbert Hoover addresses Board meeting. Dinner included Oysters, Filet Mignon and Lobster for $1.50. Incandescent electric lights installed in the Clubhouse. Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) accepted as a Member. Club has 78 Members including Cadwell Colt of Colt Firearms e board, members, and staff of e Hartford Club congratulate and thank MARGARET W. LAWSON on her Lifetime Achievement Award. In 1983, she broke new ground. Since then, she's been moving mountains. 1983 MARGARET LAWSON BECOMES FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT OF THE CLUB.
