The vacant, 20,500-square-foot free- standing building on 2.73 acres at 15 Water- ville Road, at the intersection of Routes 44 and 10, most recently housed Boyles Fur- niture & Rugs. The North Carolina retailer shut what was then its first Northeast loca- tion in late 2015. Before that, the building once housed Connecticut retailer Nassau Furniture. Listing broker Reno Properties Group LLC says the building also is available for lease at $20 a square foot triple-net. With 70 parking spaces and its loca- tion, Reno says the site is ideal as a medi- cal office, bank, pharmacy, restaurant, or free-standing retail or strip center. TRC opens Vernon office TRC Cos. Inc. has signed on as a com- mercial tenant in Vernon's Loom City Lofts development, the landlords say. The Lowell, Mass., engineering, envi- ronmental consulting and construction manager leased 810 square feet in the property for a satellite office at 215 E. Main St. TRC also has Windsor offices at 21 Griffin Road North. Hartford developer/landlord Marc S. Levine and Westport architect Joseph V. Vallone, doing business as Rockville L.P., in 2015 co-developed the dilapidated for- mer Roosevelt Mill property into 68 upper- floor apartments. With the housing units fully leased, the landlords say they are now turning their attention to filling the rest of Loom City Lofts' 7,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial-retail space now about 27 percent leased. Commercial suites feature waterfall views via a wall of large operable windows, 10-foot ceilings, open floor plans, separate- ly metered utilities and high-speed internet. Berlin industrial available A 22,600-square-foot hunk of a Berlin industrial building is available for lease, brokers say. The 109,265-square-foot building is on 16 acres at 500 Four Rod Road, said lease broker Reno Properties Group LLC. It features 20- to 32-foot high ceilings, separate utilities, permitted outside stor- age and tractor-trailer parking, and a new roof installed last fall. Space is minimally divisible to 2,400 square feet. Annual rent is $5.75 to $10 per square foot. Plainville retail-center listed Plainville's Olde Canal Square Shop- ping Center is for sale, brokers say. The 35,000-square-foot, two-building commercial-retail center is at 17 Farm- ington Ave. Tenants include AAA, Bagels Plus, Lee's Garden and Pottery Piazza, said list- ing broker Reno Properties Group LLC. The asking price is available upon request. The Plainville assessor's office lists the combined value of both 30-year- old buildings on 3 acres at $2.7 million. Bloomfield sale-leaseback A 22,700-square-foot Bloomfield indus- trial building is available for sale or as a sale/leaseback opportunity, brokers say. The building, with manufacturing as a sec- ondary use, is on 3.44 acres at 9 Britton Drive and is offered for sale at $795,000, according to listing broker Sentry Commercial. Built in 1967, it has 2,350 square feet of office space; three 10-foot by 10-foot docks; and one 10-foot by 12-foot dock. n Deal Watch wants to hear from you.
