NEW HAMPSHIRE: First in the Nation 197 Contributing Photographers David Brownell David Brownell is best known for his outdoor sports and recreation photography, characterized by stop-action timing and unique use of outdoor lighting. An award winning photographer with 30 years of experience and extensive travel around the world, Brownell's photos have graced the covers of hundreds of magazines, including Yankee, National Geographic World, Powder and Snow Country. A former contributing editor to Outdoor Photographer, Brownell has conducted photo seminars. e producers of the PBS series, e Great Outdoors, selected him to host the photography segments. Phil Cohen Phil Cohen is a lifelong New Englander, and as a Portsmouth transplant, New Hampshire's seacoast is his canvas. With his camera always within reach, he enjoys the pursuit of capturing the essence of his surroundings. His many clients include e Music Hall, the state of New Hampshire, Portsmouth Regional Hospital, e Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, e Ale House Inn and the New Hampshire Film Festival and his work has been published in Yankee Magazine and Travel & Leisure. He lives in Portsmouth with his wife, Stephanie. John Gill John Gill is a professional nature and landscape photographer whose work is published regularly. In addition to assignments and providing image rights to publications, he sells prints directly to private and corporate clients through his website. e New Hampshire Professional Photographers Association has twice honored Gill as its Photographer of the Year. He and his wife, Ruth, live in Gilford and have two grown sons. Bob Grant A native of the Mount Washington Valley, Bob Grant has photographed New Hampshire in all its seasons since 1975. Aer a brief career shooting ski movies while in college in Colorado, he connected with a leading stock house in New York, which helped to broaden his traveling and photographic experiences. Grant is most inspired winter and travels once a year to other parts of the world for inspiration, but is always glad to return home to the Valley. William Johnson roughout his four decades as a photographer, William H. Johnson has worked to capture the countryside of his native New Hampshire in all seasons and angles. From close-up details to sweeping landscapes, Johnson uses the natural lighting and weather conditions to capture the spirit of a place. Johnson's remarkable photography truly transports the viewer into the scene. Johnson's work has appeared in guidebooks, calendars, postcards, greeting cards, and advertisements, he has been published in numerous magazines and newspapers, and has seven books exclusively featuring his photography. Jeff Sinon Jeff Sinon a nature, landscape, and wildlife photographer and photography workshop instructor living in the lakes region of New Hampshire. Specializing in capturing the unique beauty of New Hampshire from the rocky seacoast at sunrise to the snow covered White Mountains I prefer to photograph under dramatic weather and lighting conditions in order to create compelling images that showcase the rugged beauty of the Granite State.
