Offering more than 100 majors and hosting dozens of research centers, UNH takes pride in creating innovative, pragmatic solutions in diverse areas such as ocean fisheries, crimes against children, K-12 education, space science and rural poverty. Outreach programs include the UNH Cooperative Extension and New Hampshire Small Business Development Center, working directly within all sectors of the community to improve the quality of life across the Granite State, while generating more than $1.4 billion annually in economic activity. UNH enrolled its largest incoming class ever in fall 2014, and celebrated record private fundraising in the 2014 fiscal year. In 2015, UNH is inviting the world to learn more about New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation presidential primary with a unique MOOC (massive open online course) ahead of the 2016 primary. Founded in 1871 as a teacher-training school, Plymouth State University offers 55 undergraduate majors and more than 50 graduate programs, including the state's only undergraduate and graduate degrees in meteorology, a nationally ranked Professional Sales Leadership program, nationally accredited school counseling and clinical mental health counseling programs, and a doctor of education program. In keeping with its roots as a teacher- training school, PSU offers professional development and preparation for current and future teachers, and special programs for those who wish to teach in the North Country and Lakes Region. PSU's enrollment includes about 4,000 traditional undergraduate students and more than 2,300 graduate students representing 47 states and 26 countries. Set in the scenic lakes region, PSU's 170-acre campus provides students with an outstanding natural laboratory for learning and an ideal setting for outdoor recreation. e university is home to the Silver Center for the Arts, the PSU Ice Arena, the Enterprise Center at Plymouth, and Active Living, Learning, and Wellness (ALLWell) North, a state-of-the-art athletic and academic complex. Keene State College is a preeminent public liberal arts college. roughout its 106-year history, the college has continuously expanded its academic offerings to include a spectrum of programs that are grounded in the values and competencies of the liberal arts tradition. With 43 undergraduate areas of study and two graduate degree programs, KSC embraces its mission to educate students with the enduring qualities that will serve them for a lifetime of professional opportunities defined by innovation and transformation.
