Hospice of Southern Maine in Scarborough added Chris Coon and Nathan Wilson to its board of directors. Coon is vice president of fi nance at Maine Medical Center in Portland while Wilson is vice president of quality and safety at Southern Maine Healthcare Internal Medicine in Biddeford. The University of New England in Biddeford said that Nicole Trufant was appointed to serve on the board of the National Association of College and University Business Offi cers and elected to a serve as vice chair of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Offi cers beginning in the fall of 2018. Trufant is vice president of fi nance and administration at the university. The Maine Department of Education announced that Jon Amory, Jason Judd, Jennifer Mallett, Amanda Nguyen, James Ritter and Robert Neely were appointed by Gov. Paul R. LePage and Acting Commissioner Robert Hasson Jr. to serve on the Maine STEM Council.
