Swift, chairman and CEO of The Hartford, was re-elected chair- man of The American Insurance Association's (AIA) board of directors at its March board meeting. Swift was first elected AIA's chairman in 2016. The American Insurance Association is a leading property-casualty insurance trade organization, representing approximately 320 insurers that write more than $125 billion in premiums each year.
