Wormtown Brewery will sell its beers outside Massachusetts for the first time in April when a Rhode Island distributor starts delivering the Worcester brews. For the first year, Cranston, R.I. distrib- utor McLaughlin & Moran Co. will only distribute the Wormtown beer on draft. The brewery has been working for two years to grow into the Ocean State, said Wormtown Co-Founder Ben Roesch, whose wife is from Rhode Island. New Hampshire firm Brady Sullivan Properties bought the site from the city in 2015 for $1.2 million, but the buyer backed out of the deal in December. The city is restarting the sale process, hosted about 20 people from six differ- ent firms in February. Companies with interest in the building had until March 1 to propose their development plans. Arch Therapeutics to make $6M stock offering Framingham biotechnology company Arch Therapeutics is selling an estimat- ed $6.1 million worth of shares, in part to pay back the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center for funding. Arch develops materials for hemostat- ic and wound care devices. The offering is expected to close on or around Feb. 24. Arch plans to pay back $825,000 to the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center for accelerator funding.
