MaineGeneral Surgery in Augusta hired Judith Wood Cook as a vascular sur- geon and MaineGeneral Orthopaedics in Augusta hired John Bradford as a surgeon. Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington hired Dianna White as Medaccess pre- scription assistance case manager. Arthur Gary School of Real Estate in Westbrook hired Laurie Barrett as director of training and education. Patrons Oxford Insurance Co. in Auburn promoted Rachel Bannister to assistant vice president of marketing. Unum, a disability insurance com- pany in Portland, promoted Matthew Monaghan to senior vice president of corporate and regu- latory and general counsel of the Closed Block segment of business. Monaghan was most recently head of the corporate and regulatory legal team. Shelly Shibles was promoted to regional vice presi- dent of quality and safety for Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway and Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. Shibles started at Stephens Memorial in 1999 in a clini- cal role before moving into administra- tion to manage quality and safety.
