Ritchie previously handled public affairs and community relations for the bank's Vermont market. Bernstein Shur, a law firm in Portland, elected Joel Moser as a shareholder. Moser is a member of the firm's Energy Practice Group and the Municipal and Governmental Services Practice Group. Katahdin Trust promoted Yancy LaPointe to branch manager and retail services officer in Fort Fairfield. LaPointe was previously retail services assistant supervisor. Career Management Associates, a human resource service provider in Portland, promoted Audra Becker to presi- dent. Becker most recently served as vice president of HR services. Baker Newman Noyes, a CPA and consulting firm in Portland, named Tabitha Lamontagne tax principal and Matthew Prunier audit principal. Lamontagne specializes in serving financial institutions as well as corpo- rate taxation of large and closely-held businesses while Prunier focuses on delivering audit services to financial institutions, commercial clients and employee benefit plans. EMHS in Brewer named Colleen Hilton president of Rosscare, the organiza- tion's not-for-profit company that oversees the Rosscare Nursing Homes. Hilton is currently an EMHS senior vice president and president of the system's VNA Home Health Hospice. Atlantic Federal Credit Union promoted Stacey Chenevert to vice president of retail services and Dawn Houle to branch manager in Brunswick. Chenevert was previously senior branch manager in Brunswick in additional to overseeing all branches while Houle was assistant branch manager in Brunswick. Coastal Mountains Land Trust in Camden added Malcolm White and Valerie Foster to its board of directors. The Maine State Bar Association announced that Albert Ayre assumed the office of president for 2017. Ayre, of counsel with Ainsworth Thelin & Raftice in South Portland, has served on the association's board of governors since 2009 and has held positions on the board's membership, investment and finance committees. e National Institute for Civil Discourse selected Terry Hayes as one of three chairs for its National Network of State Legislators commit- ted to Civil Governance. e Network consists of 100 legislators from more than 20 states who participated in the workshop "Building Trust through Civil Discourse." Hayes, previously a member of the Maine Legislature, is currently serves as Maine treasurer. President Barack Obama appointed U.S. Sen. Angus King to serve on the Roosevelt Campobello International Park Commission. e commission is tasked with administering the park as a memorial and preserving it as closely to its condition when occupied by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. e Telergee Alliance, a national network of accounting firms serv- ing the telecommunications industry, elected Julie Keim as chair/president of its board for a two-year term.
