Worcester's Bancroft School opened its newly renovated athletics field house on the east end of its campus, at 100 Shore Dr. in Worcester. The field house features an indoor track, turf field and meeting space. The school is a pre-K-through-12 college-preparatory day school. Anna Maria College of Paxton added a new master's degree in social work program. The program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Classes will start with the fall 2017 semester. The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, based in Worcester, has launched a residential shared-living program to support those with developmental n St. Mary's Credit Union of Marlborough was named the Small Business Administration Massachusetts Credit Union of the Year for 2016, the second year in a row that the credit union has achieved the recognition. The credit union was also awarded the Massachusetts SBA One Lender of the Year award for 2016. n Winners of the Better Business Bureau of Central New England 2016 Awards for Marketplace Excellence were honored at The Manor in West Boylston. Northeast Promotion and Apparel of Leominster won in the small business category. Ramsey Rehab of Leominster was the mid-sized business winner. Webster Five got the large business category award. Award finalists were Bigelow Nurseries of Northborough; Butler-Dearden Paper Service of Boylston; Leader Basement Systems of Sterling; Liberty Movers of Leicester; Shrewsbury Federal Credit Union; and financial planning firm The Visper Group of Worcester. n Westborough-based BJs Wholesale Club and Framingham State University were honored by the Northeast Recycling Council for their work in keeping wasted food out of landfills and incinerators. Both got Food Recovery Challenge Regional Achievement Certificates. In New England, 54 Challenge participants diverted more than 52,000 tons of food to donation and/ or composting in 2015. n David S.
