Portland Buy Local, founded in July 2006, is a campaign of the Portland Independent Business and Community Alliance. It has nearly 500 members, including businesses, nonprofits and individuals. The Maine Boatbuilders Show, an early spring staple for the boating industry, said it will move from its long-time site at 58 Fore St. in Portland. The 2017 show is set for March 24-26 and will be at the Portland Sports Complex, at 512 Warren Ave. Portland Yacht Services, which produces the show, is led by Phineas and Joanna Sprague. The site at 58 Fore St. is slated for conversion to a mixed-use complex. Developer CPB2 plans a $250 million develop- ment on 10 acres. Unitil, a provider of natural gas and elec- tricity to customers in New England, said it recently completed the first phase of its "Targeted Area Buildout" program in Saco. Since the program's inception in summer 2015, the compa- ny has laid 29,000 feet of pipeline. Camden National Corp., the parent company of Camden National Bank and Acadia Trust NA, announced it successfully completed the combina- tion of Acadia and Camden National Bank and launched a Camden National Wealth Management in Portland. Maine Initiatives moved to 56 North St. in Portland. PC Construction in Portland and Harriman, a design and engineering firm in Auburn, recently completed construc- tion at the Kennebunkport Consolidated School, part of a $46 million school renovations and addition project.
