JUNE 19-25, 2017 " " T he Travelers Championship is the largest and most successful community event in Connecticut and it is important for Hospital for Special Care (HSC), as a community hospital, to be part of it. The fundraising platforms at the tournament deliver much-needed funding to HSC. When the Travelers Championship designated the ALS Clinic at HSC as the primary beneficiary in 2016, it shined a welcomed light on the disease and the patients and families it impacts, as well as the wonderful HSC clinical team. Without the Travelers Championship, this simply would not have happened. – Carl Ficks , Vice President, Hospital for Special Care (Above) Fans come together to watch PGA TOUR stars tee off at the first tee.
