InterCommunity treats thousands of adults, children and families each year, regardless of where they live or their ability to pay for services. We offer patients immediate access to superior integrated care that addresses all of their health needs in a safe, supportive environment where they can heal, recover and maintain their health over time. Most importantly, we treat every patient with the kind of care and respect that everyone deserves, and we have done this for approximately 40 years. We have multiple locations throughout East Hartford and Hartford. One can find help at one of the following office locations: Primary Care: 281 Main Street, East Hartford and 16 Coventry Street, Hartford Mental Health Care: 281 Main Street, Hartford and 16 Coventry Street, Hartford Addiction Recovery Services: Detoxification Center at 500 Blue Hills Avenue, Hartford and 16 Coventry Street, Hartford GOALS • Provide services that will benefit whole person health through our primary care, behavioral health and addiction service divisions. • Continue to build and enhance our primary care services through our Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike designation. • Continue to provide same day access, so that patients are seen the same day that they call or walk in our doors. • Continue to provide high quality, superior services that are available regardless of insurance, phase of life, acuity of issue, or town of residence • Expand and grow in location throughout East Hartford and Hartford in order to fully service the population. • Continue to deliver an emphasis on employee well-being, self-care and appreciation FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES InterCommunity holds two fundraising events annually: a golf tournament and our Signature Event (a dinner and auction). GIVING OPPORTUNITIES InterCommunity is always grateful for financial donations throughout the year. Our clients can also benefit from donations of new clothing, toiletries, bedding, toys and bedding for infants, and gently used furniture.
