TOP FUNDING SOURCES TANGO is funded primarily by the suite of professional partner firms that serve our membership. The Schuster Group is our Founding Partner and primary fiscal sponsor; a full list of partners can be found on our website at www. tangoalliance.org/partners.php. Our only mission is to further the missions of our member organizations. We do this by helping them to run their organizations more effectively and efficiently, armed with the best-available knowledge and resources. We encourage thought sharing and idea generation by providing a platform for our members to collaborate amongst a diverse community of like-minded organizations. Our collective clout of over 1,060 non-profit organizations, representing 140,000 people who have chosen to work in the sector, enables us to negotiate preferred agreements with top tier professional service firms that historically would be unattainable without TANGO. GOALS Deploy TANGO 2.0: • Publically launch the TANGO Foundation, a charitable foundation with a mission to support the development of future leaders in the non-profit sector. • Launch the TANGO Non-profit Education & Consulting Practice, a service designed to help non-profits accelerate their impact through consulting with governing boards and senior management, led by Jack Horak. • Continue to expand the development of the TANGO Benefits Exchange, a private healthcare and benefits marketplace specifically for non-profit employers featuring partnerships with ConnectiCare and other select carriers. • Build upon the success of our Regional Event Series, which makes targeted and relevant topics pertaining to industry trends accessible to organizations in all corners of our state. • Showcase our partners' commitment to TANGO as a social enterprise effort in which they are investing a portion of their profits back into the non-profit sector to make a positive impact on our surrounding communities. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES Historically, the focus of our events has been to share our partners' intellectual capital with the non-profit sector through free seminars and workshops. This popular series of education events are designed to help non-profits stay current, manage compliance obligations, run more efficient, and adopt best practices. Moving forward, we will continue to support the sector in this way. With the launch of the TANGO Foundation we will also be soliciting donations to accelerate our educational outreach. GIVING OPPORTUNITIES We graciously accept two types of donations: • Financial: These funds will go into the TANGO Foundation, which will be used to support the continual education and development of future leaders in the non-profit sector. • In-Kind: TANGO accepts tangible donations in the form of used office equipment, furniture, and computers for posting on our online Donation Depot. This list can be accessed by any non-profit and the items are matched to those in need completely free of charge. " " I approached TANGO to assist my Executive Team in the development of a strategy that would create a new direction for our HR department. I did so because we already have an established relationship with them based on expertise, trust and integrity. They created an individualized action plan and continue to provide ongoing consultation in a very personal manner that leaves you feeling safe and secure knowing that they are always looking out for our best interest. It's so much more than a business relationship; they take your success very seriously. – Gino DeMaio , Chief Executive Officer Sound Community Services, New London, CT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
