Bell is a licensed customs house broker with more than 25 years of logistics and regulatory compliance experience. Woodard & Curran, an integrated engineering, science and operations company in Portland, hired Phyllis Brunner as president of consult- ing. Brunner was previously west regional manager and a senior con- sultant at Brown and Caldwell. Macpage LLC, an accounting firm in South Portland, hired Nicholas Crosman as a tax senior associate. Down East Enterprise Inc., a multimedia company in Camden, hired Hannah Clark as circulation assistant and production representative and Sarah Stebbins as a special projects editor and Ben Williamson as photography director for Down East magazine. Clark is a 2016 graduate of Regent University in Virginia, Stebbins was a freelance writer and Williamson was a contributing photographer for the magazine. Strategic Talent Management, a con- sulting firm in Brunswick, hired Susan MacArthur as vice president. MacArthur was previously a busi- ness and event management con- sultant as well as the first executive director for the Blue Hill Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. Diversified Communications, an international media com- pany in Portland, hired Melissa Vigue as a customer ser- vice representative and Emily Koncz as a project manager. Vigue was previously with gymNation in Kennebunk while Koncz was with iBec Creative in Portland. SailMaine in Portland hired Michael McAllister as interim executive director. McAllister was previously a sailing coach at Columbia University. Cardente Real Estate in Portland hired Cheri Bonawitz as a full ser- vice commercial broker. Bonawitz was previously an associate broker with KW Commercial. The Animal Welfare Society, a companion animal shelter and community animal resource in West Kennebunk, hired Kevin Ward as director of com- munity programs. Previously, Ward was a regional director with Community Partners Inc. Creative Office Pavilion in Portland hired Lauren Dunn as account manager and Phoebe Borden and Sarah Dinkel as account coordinators. Albin, Randall & Bennett, an accounting firm in Portland, hired Alyssa Kurtz Hemingway as manager. Hemingway was CFO of Linda Bean's Perfect Maine and Maine Lobster. Baker Newman Noyes, an accounting and consulting firm in Portland, hired Dustin Kaubris, Christopher Long, Mikenzi Merrill, Michael Trahan and Jena Williams as staff members in the audit practice and Danielle Hansen, Kelsey Livermore, Connor Smart and Mikala Varela as staff members in the tax practice. Penobscot Community Health Care in Bangor hired Nicole Smith- Sandilands as a member of the medical staff at Helen Hunt Health Center in Old Town.
