Now, company growth has led the manufactur- er to expand by 23,200 square feet into another building right on its campus. While its first building had features of a collaborative work environment – including high tables, couches and chairs, a library and a meditation room – the expansion represented an opportunity for Laddawn to make its open workspace even better, said Owen Richardson, the compa- ny's vice president of sales and marketing. Laddawn Vice President Owen Richardson (center) holds a meeting with employees Caitlin Mahan, vendor relationship partner, and Jeff Copetas, digital marketing director, in the lounge area of the manufacturing company's Devens headquarters. Office features for this 17-employee information-technology company include five different types of workspace (traditional sitting and standing work stations, a lounge, a standing bar, private offices and a large conference room) plus a fully stocked kitchen and a Ping Pong table that converts into a conference table. Office features for this 12-employee marketing firm include chalkboard walls, a coffee and wine bar with art from a local photographer, a multimedia studio, its Space Bar social media station, and a custom-built coffee house table with hidden data ports and charging stations. ten24 Digital Solutions, Worcester Idea Agency, Sturbridge P H O T O / E D D C O T E P H O T O / C O U R T E S Y P H O T O / C O U R T E S Y
