Girl Scouts of Maine in South Portland elected Betsey Timm as president of its board of directors. Timm is a retired bank executive. In addition, the orga- nization also elected Caroline McAleese Riley as fi rst vice president and Janet O'Toole treasurer. Riley is the managing principal/public relations for Garrand and O'Toole is principal of the accounting fi rm Honeck O'Toole. Kathy Jones, city clerk with the city of Portland, was presented with the Lorraine M. Fleury Award at the Maine State Elections Administration Conference held at Sunday River in Newry. e award recognizes an individual who has made a signifi cant contribution to the election process and who exemplifi es the qualities of fairness, experience, knowledge and service.
