DPS said this month that it will pro- vide construction management over- sight, commissioning, qualification and validation and procurement services for Moderna Therapeutics' new $110 mil- lion, 200,000 square foot GMP mRNA clinical manufacturing facility, where the Norwood company will manufac- ture clinical grade mRNA therapies and vaccines for studies, including clinical trials. Its U.S. architectural partner, Boston-based TRIA, will design clinical labs, offices, employee facilities and a conference center. Construction is scheduled to begin this month and be complete by 2018. Worcester bottler producing organic drink A uniquely New England product – an organic spritzer sweetened with maple syrup – is now being produced in Worcester. MapleMama Beverages of Wendell in the Pioneer Valley is having its latest product bottled at Ginseng Up at 15 Plum St. in Worcester, according to a representative for the company. The new drink is certified organic and offers up a number of antioxidants and miner- als. The company's initial products included Fair Trade Vanilla and Cold Brew Coffee. Shrewsbury lawyer named to superior court Shrewsbury attorney James Gavin Reardon Jr. was unanimously confirmed to a Superior Court judgeship in October. The Governor's Council voted 8-0 to support Gov. Charlie Baker's pick, with Councilor Jennie Caissie saying he is as an outstanding nominee who is incredi- bly well-respected in Worcester County.
