The QuEST Center houses a mechatronics lab, a com- bined electronics and energy utility technology lab, a CAD/CAM design studio, and labs for physics, biology, chemistry and pre-pharmacy science classes. QuEST is also home to QCC's first Fab Lab and QCC is the only com- munity college in Massachusetts to have this MIT-developed collaborative workspace on campus. A networked maker space, the Fab Lab allows you to utilize a range of high-tech tools, from digital printers and laser cutters to CAD design software and design development and manufacturing products. Linked with a worldwide network, QCC's Fab Lab enables students to participate in video con- ferencing, share plans and designs and receive technical assistance on projects with Fab Labbers anywhere in the world. Hyper-focused on local and re- gional manufacturing needs and dedicated to delivering an educa- tion relevant to today's changing workplace, QCC features advanced coursework, hands-on training and high-tech science facilities that spur innovation, creativity and skills with real-world application. QCC offers over 100 degree and certificate programs.
