Belichick link
P
hillips Precision of Boylston is
owned by Cathy and Steve Phillips,
a high-tech machine shop that turns
out short-run production project or
complex prototypes, including the parts
of the headset worn by New England
Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick.
"It's a CNC milling operation," said
Cathy Phillips, which made compo-
nents used in the Bose headset Patriots
Coach Bill Belichick wears.
And as it's seen its share of inventors
come through the shop, Steve Phillips
himself invented the Pitbull Clamp, a
force clamp which can hold work and
withstand high-speed machining.
