KidsPeace is further committed to improving access to quality behavioral health, special education and foster care services in rural and traditionally underserved Maine communities. FUNDRAISING EVENTS/OPPORTUNITIES f Graham Lake Playground Campaign – Various events held in support of raising funds for a new playground for kids attending the Graham Lake School and Milestones Pre-school Programs. Goal, 50% achieved and constructed! f Annual Holiday Gift Giving Campaign – Funds raised to support the pur- chase of holiday gifts for youth and families served by KidsPeace in Maine. f Annual KidsDay Celebration – First Sunday in August – Funds raised to support the annual National KidsDay celebration on the Graham Lake Campus: bounce house, games, dunk tank (aka "sink an administrator") and fun for kids and families. f Foster Parent Recognition – May – Help us recognize our foster parents with special events such as recognition dinners and prizes during National Foster Parent month! f Foster Family Home Renovations – Help us provide funds to help foster families with minor renovations to their homes that are necessary to meet licensing standards. Supporters can donate to these eff orts by check, online or through in-kind support (all proceeds support kids and families by providing otherwise unavail- able funds) and/or help solicit sponsors, vendors and volunteers to help with marketing and coordinating each of these events.
