What is your main professional goal? Helping the community access yoga as a clinical intervention. Who gave you the best career advice? In undergrad at Holy Cross, I had a mentor tell me, "Smarts build jobs, but hearts build careers." I picked a career built out of my heart. The people I work with would tell you I am…fun but fierce, a fighter, a mix of ambition and a dreamer, and still not afraid to get dirty. Why do you work in Central Massachusetts? I went to college here, and this community built my career. I feel loyalty to the people of the city. n Dunn works hand-in-hand with the small business community, managing the city's financial assistance programs for businesses as well as the brownfields program. He worked on the development of the South Worcester Industrial Park and led initiatives such as the food truck ordinance. Dunn is a passionate supporter of the Be Like Brit Foundation and serves on its annual golf tournament committee. Whose career would you like to emulate? Robert Kraft. He has built an empire of successful businesses, began his career in Worcester and has a deep commitment to philanthropy. What is your advice to aspiring young business people? Take initia- tive and find meaningful mentors, both inside and outside of your organization. Where do you get your motiva- tion to succeed? I am self-motivated but also choose to surround myself with like-minded people. If you could have dinner with any four people, who would they be? Thomas Jefferson, Leonardo da Vinci, John Lennon, Robin Williams. n Gould ascended the leadership chain in retail banking for 16 years, most recently as South Grafton branch man- ager for Millbury Federal Credit Union, before transitioning in June into the healthcare field to use her finance skills at Reliant Medical Group. What will the title of your mem- oirs be? "Bring it on!" I don't see myself writing my memoirs as the con- clusion to my story, but more as a proj- ect to inspire my encore career. What should older generations know about up-and-coming work- force? This generation is not just about the bottom line; it's about contribution.
