At AI, we provide multiple
mentoring opportunities,
where seasoned PM/
resident engineers work
daily with entry-level
inspectors in the field
and team leaders are
paired with assistant
team leaders on bridge
inspection teams. There
are daily opportunities
to exchange ideas and
voice opinions.

proposes to use unmanned aerial vehicle
(UAV) technology, or drones, in new and
exciting ways. Young engineers are also
encouraged to share their work at staff meet-
ings, which improves their presentation skills
and educates the company as a whole.
Interesting techniques or new technologies
are unveiled during these meetings, and can
be used on other projects in ways that may
never have been envisioned otherwise.
As the company continues to grow,
those in the mentorship program today will
be the leaders and managers of tomorrow.
AI is committed to helping develop the next
generation of professionals who will take their
place and add their voices and talents to the
firm's overall culture. Senior firm members
serve on boards for various industry, college,
and high school programs. Several students
are given paid internships each year who
gain analytical problem-solving skills as well
as an appreciation for the societal aspects
and benefits of infrastructure projects, better
preparing them for their own careers.
Executive Vice President, Aslam
Siddiqui, PE sums up AI's success best. "As
we look to the future, we have developed
a process by which we can exceed our
clients' expectations through the continual
growth of our talented pool of engineers,
inspectors and designers."
