It is made up of seven varieties of cold-hardy perennials. The 209,000-square-foot lab serves as the company's hub for the New England area and houses more than 1,000 employees. Most building materials within the laboratory were manufactured within a 500-mile radius. Partially made up of Quinsigamond Community College's downtown campus, which will span nearly 73,000 square feet across three floors. 13 miles away from the company's previous world headquarters in Natick. Has more than 600 employees at this location in downtown Worcester. The $38-million, 258-bed dorm was built for WPI by Daniel O'Connell's Sons, the same Holyoke firm that built the research facility in nearby Gateway Park.
