The data from Transwestern for the first quarter of 2016 shows strong growth in price per square foot lease rates. Below are the average price per square foot rates and the percent change from the fourth quarter for industrial real estate n I-495 West $10.64 per square foot, an increase of 29.8 percent n I-495 South $5.83 per square foot, an increase of 7.3 percent n I-495 North $7.83 per square foot, an increase of 4.6 percent n I-495 submarkets total $8.16 per square foot, an increase of 7 percent The average price for the Route 128 & I-495 areas combined is $8.46 per square foot, an increase of 18.2 percent.
