The council provides a perspective on economy and issues arising at thrift institutions, credit unions and community banks. COLLEEN PAPPAS, executive vice president of the Central Massachusetts Association of Realtors, received the Realtor Association Certified Executive designation from the National Association of Realtors. SAVVAS KOSMIDIS joined the Worcester office of ERA Key Realty Services. Kosmidis had worked for Oracle as a sales manager. MARY T. DEAN was promoted to senior vice president, chief information officer at Clinton Savings bank in Clinton. She originally joined the bank seven years ago as senior vice president of commercial lending and cash management. Before that, she worked as an executive at SunGuard Securities and at banks such as Commonwealth National and KeyBank. She has received various community honors including a 40 Under Forty award from the Worcester Business Journal and a community service award from Flagship Bank. She graduated cum laude from Harvard University and lives in Lunenburg with her husband and two children. GINGER ABRAHAM-FREEL is director of quality and operations at Biostage in Holliston. In this new position, Abraham- Freel will be responsible for helping Biostage file an Investigational New Drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. She joins the company from Diagnostics For All, Inc. where she led product validation, established quality systems and maintained compliance as director of quality and head of manufacturing. JOLENE JENNINGS was named interim director at Literacy Volunteers of Greater Worcester. She will take the reigns while the nonprofit searches for a new executive director. She has 20 years of experience in the Greater Worcester nonprofit scene, including as executive director of Jericho Road Worcester. She was a founding member and board officer for Dress for Success Worcester and interim director of the Center for Women & Enterprise Worcester. She holds a master's degree of science in nonprofit management from Worcester State University. ALYSON COX was named manager of communications at NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans in Princeton. She has more than a decade of communications experience, including with public relations and graphic design, most recently as marketing coordinator at Finesse Cosmetic Laser Center. She is a longtime volunteer of NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans and was a founding member of the Puppy Raiser Council. She holds a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. MARY ANN ASHTON was elected to a three-year term on the board of Workers' Credit Union. She is a co-founder of Innovation & Information Consultants, Inc., of Concord, serves on the state board for the League of Women Voters and Massachusetts Special Advisory Commission on Compensation for Constitutional Officers, and as a treasurer for Farrington Nature Linc in Lincoln.
