www.wbjournal.com Worcester Business Journal Business Profiles 2016 9 A s soon as you walk through the doors at Elevation Exhibits, you can feel it – the energy of imaginative minds at work. A team of four exhibit designers and two graphic designers has been pooling its creative juices for the last ten years to create award-winning design solutions for clients across several different industries in this country and around the globe. If you ask Dana Esposito, Creative Director and 20-year veteran in the industry, the secret to Elevation Exhibits' success, she'll offer two answers: listening and learning. "One of the keys to the creative process is listening to the client to determine the message intended for the audi - ence," she says. "Since clients attend many shows, each with different sizes and audiences, we figure out how to communicate their message for them. We're solving spe- cific problems for specific reasons for each specific client." Not only do the creative experts at Elevation Exhibits design striking displays, they also immerse themselves in every client's industry, learning all they can. Elevation designs exhibits for industries from healthcare and tech- nology to manufacturing and insurance, so they must become well versed in the nuances of each sector. "We ask a lot of questions and learn what makes each client unique from their competitors." Esposito says. "We cre- ate designs for any educational environment: a trade show exhibit, museum displays, corporate lobbies, exec- utive briefing centers, large events and showrooms – any three dimensional environment that needs to communi- cate a message. We use design to tell a client's story." In addition to creating the concept and then bringing it to life, the creative team at Elevation Exhibits produces a project that complies with the legal parameters set by the industry. "We aim to provide solutions that meet all criteria, from venue regulations, budget, modularity for shipping and brand messaging to detailed product dis- plays needs. Looking great is a given." To accomplish this, collaboration between the exhibit design team and graphic designers is key. "We conduct a lot of research, work with the client's marketing manager and translate the verbal message into a 3-D environment to give the client the best representation of their brand," says Bob Rucci, Graphics Director. "This collaboration results in a seamless integration of all aspects of the cli- ent's brand. Our team provides high value messaging and brand identity." Elevation Exhibits' craftsmanship can be seen across the country from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Texas to California, Las Vegas and Orlando. Not only does the company boast a domestic presence, but Elevation's creations can also be found around the globe at international trade shows in Europe, South America, the Middle and Far East. Some clients require multiple designs since they exhibit both at home and abroad. "U.S. trade shows have different rules than international exhibits, but it's important that we preserve brand conti- nuity for our clients, while still communicating to their diverse audiences and cultures," says Esposito. Some of Elevation's key clients include E-ink, New England Development, Bemis, Opko Diagnostics, Metso, Drilling Info, Lexmark and SimpliVity. Recently the company added WiTricity and Finsix to the list. The creative team at Elevation Exhibits takes pride in their work. "We genuinely want to see the client succeed. We want to see them shine, while we work behind the scenes to help with their presentation," says Rucci, reporting that the company completes between 300 and 400 projects annually. "If a client imagines it, the creative team at Elevation Exhibits can design it." Working within a tight timeframe – often just a few weeks – can be challenging, but Elevation's creative team is up for the task. Esposito says, "Trade show dates never move, so we have to deliver as promised." And they do. n Elevation Exhibits & Events: Creative Team Makes Magic S H R E W S B U R Y , M A Elevation Exhibits & Events Address: 905 Hartford Turnpike Shrewsbury, MA 01545-4148 Phone: 508-842-1213 Fax: 508-842-7204 Website: www.elevationee.com Product or Service Description: Full- service tradeshow design and marketing firm that builds award-winning exhibits for companies in diverse industries Number of Employees: 50 Head of Company and Title: Ken Karns, President Year Founded: 2006 P H O T O S / C O U R T E S Y Left to right: David Silva, Dana Esposito, Matt McLaughlin, Bob Rucci, Arri Aktarian, Tom Mitchell
