Vets First Choice, a veterinary prescription management fi rm in Portland, announced the launch of ScriptConnect, a mobile app that en- ables veterinarians to manage patient prescriptions on their iPhone. Tyler Technologies' Schools Division in Yarmouth announced a parent- student mobile app called Student 360. The app works with the fi rm's Student Information System and is touch-enabled to work with tablets, smart phones and other mobile devices so student data can be ac- cessed by parents, students and staff from virtually anywhere. Campaign to boost Maine Woods tourism businesses A group has launched the Tourism Innovation Program with the goal of providing funding for tourism-related businesses in the Moosehead Lake and Katahdin Iron Works regions. "We want to help business owners transform their operations by tapping into specialized skills and expertise from across the state or across the country — ultimately bringing their business to the forefront of the highly competitive destination travel mar- ket," Mike Wilson, senior program director for the Northern Forest Center, said.
