C&L Aviation names new division president Bangor-based aircraft maintenance and support company C&L Aviation has announced that Larry Dean will serve as the new president of C&L Jet, a division of the company that assists customers with aircraft sales and acquisitions. Dean worked at the aviation manufacturer Dassault Aviation as regional sales manager of new aircraft before serving as vice president of aircraft fi nance for Citigroup and Honeywell, in addi- tion to senior vice president of charter services for Jet Aviation and vice president of sales and marketing for Atlantic Aviation. C&L has annual revenue of $30 million. Competition, parking woes cited by Bangor market Bottles & Cans, a market at 48 Main St. in Bangor, planned to close by the end of March. Paul Bosse, one of the owners, cited a lack of down- town parking and competition from larger grocery stores, he told the Bangor Daily News. "If it's not con- venient, then we're not viable," Bosse said. "Every foot counts, every dollar counts." He said grocery stores also off er a wider selection of craft beer and wine — tapping into its market. "I thought we had this little niche in the market, but it went away right after we opened," Bosse told the BDN.
