Barber was the presi- dent of Barber Foods in Portland prior to its sale to AdvancePierre in Cincinnati. Skelton Taintor & Abbott, a law firm in Auburn, said that Rebecca Webber was elected president of the Central Maine Human Resources Association and Jordan Payne was elected to the board of directors of Community Little Theatre in Auburn. Webber is a shareholder with the firm while Payne is an asso- ciate attorney. Good Shepherd Food Bank in Auburn added Robert Moore, John Nutting and William Williamson to its board of direc- tors. Moore is CFO of Goodwill Industries of Northern New England. Nutting is a former member of the Maine State Legislature. Williamson is Maine state president for Bank of America as well as the senior client manager in Bank of America's commercial banking group for northern New England. The Manufacturers Association of Maine in Portland announced appointments to its board of directors: chairman, Clint Strout, president of Client Performance Solutions; vice chairman, Robin Goodwin, CEO of Montalvo; treasurer, Holly Ferguson, principal of Albin, Randall, & Bennett; director, Andy Nichols, CEO of Elmet Technologies; and director, Elaine Scott, principal of Skyeboat Marketing. John Leonard, president and CEO of The MEMIC Group in Portland, was named to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's New England Advisory Council for a two-year term. e board provides insight into business and eco- nomic activity in the region to help the Fed in its decision-making processes. Sophia Rosendo, buyer manager at Tranzon Auction Properties in Portland, received the designation as an Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate from the National Auctioneers Association's Education Institute. BerryDunn, an accounting and consult- ing firm in Portland, said the Maine Real Estate & Development Association recog- nized Jason Favreau as its 2016 Volunteer of the Year.
