He is a founding partner at Concord motor vehicle industry consulting firm Carlisle & Co., with more than 20 years of experience in mergers, business and technology process improvements, dealer relationships and supply chain performance. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and a master's degree in business administration from MIT's Sloan School of Management. He has two children and lives in Acton. ANTHONY RAO, a doctor in private practice in Lexington, was appointed to the board of directors at The Discovery Museums, MetroWest's children's and science museums. Rao worked for more than 20 years at Boston Children's Hospital and as an instructor at Harvard Medical School. He has been interviewed for several documentaries and news articles and is currently working on his second book. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and child studies from Tufts University, a master's degree in clinical/experimental psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. He lives in Chestnut Hill. RENEE LETENDRE is now a mortgage representative/processor at North Brookfield Savings Bank's mortgage center in North Brookfield. She was a retail lending manager at Barre Savings Bank from 2012-2015. In her new job, she will be responsible for assisting customers through the mortgage process, including verifying, providing and compiling information for mortgage loans. TONY DOLPH is now senior vice president of marketing at SeaChange International in Acton. He has more than 30 years of experience in global marketing management and developing business programs behind market- leading technologies. Before joining SeaChange, he was president and CEO of SaaS provider Hubcast. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and holds a certificate of matriculation from Beijing Foreign Studies University. ANDREW J. MICLOT has been appointed to the board of directors at Precision Optics Corp. in Gardner. He is currently CEO and director at Micro Machine Company, and before that he was executive vice president of medical device supplier Micro Technologies. He joins the company at a time where it is working on maximizing the value of its opportunities available to precision optics, particularly with microprecision. Miclot holds a master's degree in business administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, a master's degree in audiology and a bachelor's of arts degree in speech and hearing from Indiana University. JOHN CAIN is now a full-time managing partner in charge of agency operations at James & Matthew, a national advertising agency in Leominster. Cain is one of the firm's founding partners, and until now worked behind the scenes to maintain its financial operations. Before joining the agency, Cain worked as an accountant for various companies including a food manufacturer and roofing and landscape companies. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a bachelor's degree in accounting. DEVON A. KINNARD was named to the boards at Catholic Charities of Worcester County and at the Lupus Foundation of New England. He is a banking and finance attorney for Davis, Malm & D'Augustine in Boston. Kinnard is also a member of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on several committees. MARK KING, CEO of Tegra Medical in Franklin, is now on the editorial board of Medical Product Outsourcing, a Rodman Media publication. King has more than 25 years of experience in the medical manufacturing industry, including in operations, sales, engineering and manufacturing. On the board, he will offer advice on what issues affecting the medical device industry should be covered by the publication. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering technology from Purdue University College of Technology. Ferguson has been honored by the Worcester District Medical Society as Community Clinician of the Year. He will receive the award at the district's annual meeting April 13. Ferguson is vice chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at UMass Medical School, a professor in the department and medical director of the school's Massachusetts Area Health Education Centers Network. Bryley is based in Hudson. FRESH BEGINNINGS Marguerite Thorsen has opened a marketing consultancy for medium-sized businesses, Thorsen & Associates, in Marlborough. She has more than 40 years of strategic marketing experience, is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston and has an master's degree in business administration from Babson College in Wellesley. Clinton Savings Bank has a new Bolton branch at 562 Main St., with a drive-thru window for customers Jill E. Parcell is the branch manager. Fallon Health of Worcester has opened a new PACE, or Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, program in Buffalo, N.Y. It's the seventh site and first in New York for the program, which is administered by MassHealth and Medicare. There are two PACE sites in Worcester; the others are in Charlton, Leominster, Springfield and Lowell. Construction has begun at Homewood Suites by Hilton at 212 Summer St. in downtow Worcester. The hotel, owned by First Bristol Corp., is a $21-million project. The completed hotel will be six stories high with about 120 long-term stay rooms. Shirley-based CELLTREAT Scientific Products, which supplies cell culture and liquid handling products, is moving and expanding its offices and operations. Construction is underway at a new site in Pepperell, with an estimated completion date of June 1. The new facility will be 60-percent larger than the current loca- tion, to enable the company to perform more warehousing and shipping capabili- ties and for expansion of the company's product development, production and product application testing. Charter Communications' Worcester store at 95 Higgins St. and the 296 Providence Road store in Grafton both relocated to a new, state-of-the-art Charter Spectrum Store at 867 Grafton St. in Worcester.
