Hologic Inc. has both manufacturing and R&D operations in Danbury, however the company does not disclose employee data by geographic location. Spinifex Pharmaceuticals, which appeared on this list in March 2015, was acquired by Novartis in June 2015; it is not included here as continued presence in Connecticut could not be confirmed.
