At the event up to 150 foster and adopted teen girls receive free dresses, makeovers and attend motivational seminars. We are collecting donations now through February 26, 2016. Businesses and organizations have the opportunity of hosting a drive. Individual donations can be mailed or delivered to the CAFAP office located at 2189 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 2, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. The CAFAP toy drive will end on December 12th 2015. Our goal is to provide each of the 300 children with a new back-pack as well as school supplies to be equipped for the new school year. We are encouraging individuals, groups and civic organizations to participate in our Back-to-School drive to ensure we can reach this goal and show our support for Connecticut's foster and adoptive families. The drive starts in April 2016 and ends in July of 2016. This conference is designed to inspire and motivate parents and professionals who support and nurture over 4000 children in foster care, kinship care and those who were lucky enough to have been adopted in Connecticut. Also, we are seeking "Fairy Glam Mothers", who are women ages 21+ that will help the foster and adopted girls select their dresses, take them to get their makeovers and participate in the seminars with them.
